Alice Ruth

Thousands of families are affected by a Trisomy 18 diagnosis every year. The prognosis is always devastating. The average life expectancy is still well under one year of age. The impact of the lives of Trisomy 18 children resonates for several lifetimes, despite their lives being brief. So much research is needed in order to find therapies for the various challenges that these children face. There is hope for finding a cure. The Trisomy 18 foundation is working towards this goal. More research to save trisomy 18 babies, to prevent so many heart breaks, and to improve the quality of life for Trisomy 18 children.

Alice is 8.5 years old living with Full Trisomy 18! She’s exceeded expectations, and has defied the odds. Like all Trisomy parents, we continue to hope for breakthroughs, and always more time. Alice’s friends and family will be walking on May 4th. Hope you’ll walk with us!

Thank you for your support. And please donate, and/or walk with us on May 4th.

cheers!
